Sie schloss sowohl ein Bachelor-Studium in Betriebswirtschaftslehre als auch ein Studium in der Informatik mit einem Master of Science ab. Im Anschluss promovierte sie an der Universit\u00e4t zu L\u00fcbeck im Bereich K\u00fcnstliche Intelligenz.<\/p>\n<p>Ihre Forschungsinteressen liegen vor allem in der Grundlagenforschung zu statistisch-relationaler und mensch-orientierter KI sowie anwendungsorientiert in Textverarbeitung mit kleinen Datens\u00e4tzen, was die Anwendung moderner Sprachmodelle sehr erschwert. Ihre Forschung publiziert sie sehr erfolgreich auf kleinen und gr\u00f6\u00dferen Konferenzen, u.a. IJCAI und AAAI. Seit der sechsten Ausgabe ist sie Mitherausgeberin des &#8222;Handbuch[s] der K\u00fcnstlichen Intelligenz&#8220;, dem deutschsprachigen \u00dcbersichtsbuch zur KI mit Beitr\u00e4gen f\u00fchrender deutschsprachiger KI-Forschenden. Zudem ist sie regelm\u00e4\u00dfig an der Organisation nationaler und internationaler Forschungstreffen
