He received his PhD in strategic management from the Technical University Munich, habilitating in 2004 with a thesis on supply management.<br \/>\nAs co-founder of XU Exponential Game Changers GmbH and initiator of XU Exponential University he is involved in the transformation of organizations, focusing on education, training and integration in the context of digitization.<br \/>\nWithin the scope of several projects of the World Economic Forum (WEF), he is dedicated to the development of future programs\/scenarios for the socio-political and economic organization of digitization.<br \/>\nIn previous projects he was a major driver in the areas of supply chain innovation, logistics and mobility.<br \/>\nHe co-founded the supply management consultancy Brain.Net, which later was sold to KPMG.<br \/>\nHe was professor and president of EBS Universit\u00e4t f\u00fcr Wirtschaft und Recht in Wiesbaden and managing founder of Supply Chain Management Institute SMI, which became one of Europe\u2019s most renowned institutes.<br \/>\nSince several years he promotes the cooperation of German and Chinese companies, especially in the fields industry 4.0 and
