L’Oréal Germany in 2016. Over the following years, she built her track record with L’Oréal’s consumer product brands such as Maybelline or Garnier, progressing from Digital Marketing Manager to Head of Digital & E-Commerce. She subsequently broadened her expertise as Director of Digital Marketing at Bitburger Braugruppe, leading the group’s digital transformation and omnichannel strategy across national and international markets. In 2023, she returned to L’Oréal as Digital & Consumer Connections Director DACH, and in May 2025 was appointed Chief Digital Officer DACH for the Consumer Products Division.

As Chief Digital Officer for the Consumer Products Division, Valerie is responsible for driving the digital transformation of L’Oréal’s largest division across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Together with her teams, she develops and executes strategies across media and content strategy, influencer marketing and social commerce- with a particular focus on integrating AI into marketing processes and ways of working. She brings over a decade of hands-on digital expertise, having led digital transformation initiatives both within L’Oréal and across the broader FMCG industry. Outside of work, Valerie draws inspiration from her international roots– with family spread across Italy and Australia– and loves exploring the world through travel and live music, together with her daughter.
